Hey there! I'm Logan, the owner and photographer behind Logan M. Hale Photography.

I'm a Virginia photographer specializing in weddings, engagements, portraits and graduation photography. I love creating images that feel natural, genuine, and timeless while capturing the moments and emotions that make each story unique.

My Story

My interest in photography started in high school when I took my first photography class. What started with a small point-and-shoot camera quickly turned into something I knew I wanted to pursue.

I went on to study Fine Arts and Photography at Virginia Western Community College and James Madison University. While at JMU, I also worked as a photographer for The Breeze, the university's student newspaper.

Those experiences helped me develop my style and, more importantly, taught me to look for the moments that happen naturally.

My Style

My photography combines a documentary style with fine art. I focus on capturing genuine moments and emotions as they naturally happen, while also creating beautifully composed images that feel timeless.

Whether I'm photographing a wedding, engagement, graduation, or portrait session, I want the experience to feel relaxed and natural. My goal is to create photographs that don't just look good, but feel personal to the people in them.

For me, photography is about more than just creating beautiful images. It's about capturing the moments and emotions that make your story yours.  I want you to look back on your photos and remember not just how the day looked, but how it felt.
